I agree with you someone will prefer to have someother not. To have the img in place some bootstrap tricks need to be used, put it inside a column, use img-responsive, so I will prefer to not loss the current implementation. This is way I propose to introduce a parameter to be able to switch off or on. We can decide to have this off by default so to be more "backward compatible". I we agree about introducing this additional parameter I will manage to have a PR for that.

This is really just a question - In the default theme, generously contributed by Cineca, we display images in the list of communities and collections, the result is that the list takes up a lot of space. I suspect most people would want to remove those images to save space, so should we make that change in the default theme?
