After running "[dspace]/bin/dspace stat-initial" and "[dspace]/bin/dspace stat-report-initial" to generate the traditional pre-1.6 statistics, I found that there were some statistics missing in the reports.
The sections "Words Searched", "Items Viewed", and "User Logins" are empty. Anything related to search/views are absent in other sections as well.
I figured that it might be because these stats are tracked in Solr, but I imagine the events are still logged the same as they were prior to using Solr, so these pre-1.6 commands (which process the event logs and turn them into static HTML pages) should still work.
I've viewed one DSpace instance (not mine) that upgraded from 1.x (I'm not sure if it was 1.4 or 1.8) to 3.0, and its pre-1.6 style stats are still showing and updating appropriately. However, it's not using Discovery. Perhaps it's not using Solr for statistics either, since it's an upgrade? Actually, when I try to look at its usage statistics, I get errors, so I'm guessing it hasn't been upgraded correctly...
Originally, I hadn't used Discovery for search (for my 3.2 test instance), but after generating a few dozen "item views" in my Solr search statistics, I decided to turn on Discovery so I could also use Solr for my searching.

In summary, I'm guessing that certain pre-1.6 stats don't appear anymore because the events aren't being logged anymore since they're purely Solr based stats?
As for other stats that do appear in the pre-1.6 stat reports, I'm guessing they either aren't tracked in Solr or they're either tracked in Solr AND the event logs are still the same.
