It sounds to me like the log files have changed, and the pre-1.6 stats are no longer able to accurately track search stats. However, in DSpace 4.0, it's worth noting that search stats are now available in the Solr Statistics feature. Login as an Admin, and look in the sidebar under "Statistics -> View Search Statistics". See also the docs under: https://wiki.duraspace.org/display/DSDOC4x/DSpace+Statistics#DSpaceStatistics-WebUserInterfaceElements It still doesn't look to have *all* of the same statistics as the old pre-1.6 statistics pages. But, I wonder if it'd actually be better to enhance the Solr Statistics engine to support all the same older pre-1.6 statistics reports. Either way, this needs a volunteer to investigate our options & come up with a solution.
