I've taken over their account on the backup instance, and now I'm not having any problem deleting items from the same collection. In fact, I'm not having any problems deleting one of the items that they struggled to delete.
The E-Person privileges are identical...
I suppose I'll have to do some more tests on the prod instance, but they'll have to be pretty limited.
Tim (or others), could you point me towards the relevant process in the code that a delete goes through for an item? If I can follow that, I might be able to find the point where this "Insufficient privileges" message is being triggered.
