Hi,
I am making some small tweaks for my needs to the currently available
versioning process.
With item.clearMetadata I managed to remove the metadata fields I want the user
to re-enter for the new version.
Another thing I wanted to change is making the user have to choose a new file
for the new version. Normally, when you get to the uploadfilestep, the file
from v1 is already entered and needs to be removed manually.
How do I remove this file from the form?
I tried by first setting a new item (Item itemwithoutMetaandFile = item;) and
continuing to work with itemwithoutMetaandFile.
I thought this would prevent any changes to the original, unversioned item.
I tried
itemwithoutMetaandFile.removeBundle(itemwithoutMetaandFile.getBundles("ORIGINAL")[0]);
which resulted in the uploadfilestep being empty, just like I wanted! But it
also seems to affect v1, as I can't open the file from v1 anymore.
Any idea on what I might be doing wrong?
