In order to declare and use a new metadata schema, what is the recommended way of going about it? Should we directly add entries to the database or update / add xml files under the dspace/config/registries folder?
For example, in order to add say the LOM schema, should we add a lom-types.xml file with the LOM application profile we intend to use?
