I recently saw a patch merged to the dspace-5_x branch that was fixing an issue in something called JSONDiscoverySearcher. The Jira issue[0] mentions a URL I've never seen before, and which isn't documented anywhere:
http://dspace.edu/JSON/discovery/search What is this URL? It appears to used internally by XMLUI for Discovery facets[1]. Is it useful for anything else? Can it be used to perform wildcard queries which, for example, the REST API cannot?
