Hi everyone!

I would like to ask you how can we exclude some metadata fields from the
index and search?
Tried this:
https://wiki.duraspace.org/display/DSDOC5x/Discovery#Discovery-Nonindexedmetadatafields

Added here:
        <entry>
            <key><util:constant static-field=
"org.dspace.core.Constants.ITEM"/></key>
            <list>
                <value>dc.description.provenance</value>
 <value>fieldtobeexcluded1</value>
 <value>fieldtobeexcluded1</value>
            </list>
        </entry>

And reindexed, but no change... I run 4.1 version and this is for version 5.
Does it work for version 4?
If not, how could i manage to do this?

+1 The reindex stops afer 3-4000 items... Does this mean the memory is not
enough for Java?

Thank you very much for your answer!
Best regards,
Bodnar Robert
