Hello Stefan, I'm not sure I know how common that "expose-communities" setting is overall. However, I'll note that the official documentation says this:
"As deposits can only be made into a collection, it is recommended to leave this set to false." Source: https://wiki.duraspace.org/display/DSDOC6x/SWORDv2+Server If this helps to solve the issues for you, it seems fine to set it to "true". However, any tools/services that are using SWORDv2 to deposit into your repository should be aware that they will *not* be able to deposit content (via SWORD) into a Community. So, they will have to ensure they are selecting a valid Collection prior to depositing via SWORD. Hopefully that helps, Tim On Tue, Nov 6, 2018 at 2:53 AM Stefan Kombrink <[email protected]> wrote: > Dear Tim & others, > > let me pick up on this issue once again. > > I've reimplemented our submission interface using > swordv2-server.expose-communities = true > in local.cfg > > This allows to retrieve the bibliography hierarchy level by level and > makes the usage of /rest/hierarchy dispensable for us.
