Keep in mind that, as a Beta release, these installation instructions are still in a "draft" phase. This means that we'd appreciate any feedback (on this mailing list or on Slack [1]) regarding how they go for you. You will notice the major difference with DSpace 6.x is you have to install the UI *separate* from the backend (the backend install is similar to a DSpace 6.x install). As noted, the UI and the backend can run on the same server, but also can be installed on separate servers. The other machine is running Ubuntu 14.04 and has a working test install of Collection Space (which I don't need). Do you have any suggestions or warnings regarding installing Beta 1 on a remote machine?
