Hello DSpace Tech Support Community! At UTL we are upgrading our JSPUI DSpace from x5.9 to x6.3. During this process we realized the Geolite database license terms changed. I'm referencing this DSpace jira ticket <https://jira.lyrasis.org/browse/DS-4409> for context.
Has anyone in the community implemented an alternative geoip database with DSpace? At our institution we are exploring open source alternatives. Curious to know if anyone else has had success with another database solution? Thank you for reading, take care.
