Using 'dc.title', at least from a practical point of view, is the apparently suggested approach because it allows items to be shown in various DSpace listings without the need to customize the system. Currently, I require more specific metadata, such as 'person.givenName' or 'person.fullName', for crosswalks, while 'dc.title' remains for display purposes.
