Hi All, With the proliferation of generative AI and other "tools" that can be used to plagiarise or obfuscate academic impropriety, have there been any thoughts around the inclusion of AI detection tools or plagiarism prevention? There have been some recent embarrassment in the academic community from obvious instances of plagiarism, so I imagine this topic has piqued the interest of editors and curators alike. Obviously one tries to catch this stuff before it gets published, but things can get missed. For this reason, it would seem that a layered approach that included plagiarism detection and AI detection might gain some traction.
Any thoughts on this or how it might be implemented using an API?
