In DSpace 7.6.4, we are experiencing an issue with granting a creative commons license. When selecting a license type, for instance non-commercial, ShareAlike, with the default jurisdiction 'International', the submission form simply hangs in 'saving' mode. The developer console displays no errors, nor do the dspace logs (angular and rest). It is not clear to me if the problem lies on the server side or the UI.
The configuration is the default configuration given in the documentation and the out-of-the-box dspace.cfg. There is no firewall issue, as I am able to curl to the creative commons site and retrieve licenses from the command line. This worked in previous versions, but I'm not sure at what point it actually stopped working. A tangentially related issue may be https://github.com/DSpace/DSpace/issues/8815 Has anybody experienced this problem and found a workaround? Or if it simply works for you would you be willing to share your settings?
