Hi Claudia, That does sound like unexpected behavior. However, before reporting a bug ticket, I'd highly recommend testing it again in a later version of DSpace 7.6.x. The latest is DSpace 7.6.5 and there's been a large number of bug fixes between 7.6.1 and 7.6.5...so, it's possible this has already been fixed. (I did a quick search around and couldn't find whether this was specifically fixed, but there were general fixes to item versioning that could have fixed this bug)
