D'oh! Of course there is, this can be done on a per item basis on the
"Edit Item" screen (we've only got about 70 eTheses at the moment, so
doable). So no need to over tax my rudimentary SQL knowledge!
 
My other questions remain though (until I have another D'oh moment and
answer them for myself of course ;-) )
