As a new user, I find it confusing to have internal pages in the main
namespace. Perhaps we could adopt a policy of using username wiki spaces for
projects not ready for the public eye? By 'username wiki spaces' I mean the
subdirectories of one's user page; my user page, for instance, is at
http://wiki.dspace.org/index.php/User:Jodi.a.schneider

Pages in a usernamespaces can have multiple editors. Pages could be migrated
when ready, and the personal namespace page replaced with a redirect. I
think this would be beneficial for novices. Pruning the main namespace might
also make the wiki easier to maintain.

Would this be feasible? Would it be worth the effort?

That page is not ready to be seen. It is not linked anywhere yet because
right now it's for internal review only. Mark should not have mentioned
it yet.

When the page is ready to be seen, I fully intend to link it and will
announce it to the tech and devel lists.
