Hi all,
very strange I can no longer access the DSpace PostgreSQL db via the
Web-GUI or 'dsrun' applications. Calling 'psql dspace dsspace' or just
'dspace' as Linux-user 'dspace' I get access. Even through pgadmin3. The
error log 'dspace.log' says:

The translation of the German message part is:
"Connection denied. Check the hostname and portnumber and be sure the
the database server accept TCP/IP-connections."
It is not a firewall problem. PostgreSQL lives at the standard port, all
configuration settings are appropriate (in dspace.cfg and
postgresql.conf), and there are no zombie processes.
Around the time when the problem occurred I deleted all imported items
from DSpace using the web interface. But, could there be any connection?
Hope someone can help.
Thanks in advance
Robert
