Jim,

It looks like you've got apache front-ending your tomcat installation.
If you're using the mod_jk worker to do this, take a look at your
jk.conf file in /etc/httpd/conf.d. You can add a * after the JkMount
line(s) to have if match both .../dspace and .../dspace/

So it'd look something like this:
...
JkMount /dspace* ajp13
...
JkMount /dspace-oai/* ajp13

Hope that helps! -Lane

Subject: [Dspace-tech] Hi,

Hi,

I Installed dspace 1.4.2. Platform is solaris 10 with oracle 10g and
tomcat 5.5.26. The url https://hostname/dspace does not work returns
page not found.
https://hostname/dspace/ does work. It is requiring the ending slash.
This is also true for https://hostname/dspace/dspace-admin. There is an
administer link that does not have the ending slash.
One more page not found is
https://hostname/dspace/tools/edit-communities. Any ideas what would
cause this or how to correct?

Thanks,
Jim
