Thanks for your quick response. unfortunately, apache is not front-ending. I terminate the SSL at an f5 load balancer. Internally, it is a tomcat standalone listening on port 8080. Catalina.out does report that ajp13 is running on 0.0.0.0:8009 could this be part of the problem? INFO: JK: ajp13 listening on /0.0.0.0:8009
