Good evening,
For version 1.4.2 running on RHEL 5, DSpace does not appear to be creating a
log file "dspace.log," even though the location for such a log file is properly
specified in "dspace.cfg."
Logs exist for Tomcat (per this reference I found:
http://mailman.mit.edu/pipermail/dspace-general/2006-April/000910.html), but
there are no logs being created for DSpace ($DSPACE/log). I cannot find any
reference to permissions errors or the like.
This would seem to be a common issue, and at the risk of posting something that
has been answered before (but which has eluded my search of the list archives),
I am hoping for someone to kindly provide the obvious answer that I have missed.
