We have an issue that sounds like it may be related. A script is run to ping DSpace every 20 minutes to check that it is running in order to send out an email out to support. Every day or two I get an email saying DSpace is not responding. When I check via a browser it always responds. I have been dismissing these messages as a problem with the script. Now I'm not so sure.
