Try setting the upload.max configuration parameter in dspace.cfg to -1.
This means your upload file sizes are unlimited. We had to change ours
due to a few really large documents we had to upload.

Subject: [Dspace-tech] bitstream import on 1.4.2

Hello,

Is there a way on 1.4.2 to import a bitstream and add it to an

existing record from the command line?

Our config file indicates that we should be able to upload items as

big as 512 MB, but the UI keeps timing out when we try to add a 135MB

bitstream to this record. In the past, we've gotten around this by

using the Item Importer, but that was with complete item packages. In

this case, I'm just looking to bring in an additional bitstream file.

Thanks for any guidance.
