We were able to migrate data out of Joomla! to DSpace by exporting the MySQL data as XML and then using a converter we wrote and which is now available at http://www.sourceforge.net/projects/dcmetatoolkit we were able to convert the MySQL XML data into Dublin Core compatible XML and batch import it.
The Joomla site is also running Gallery2 so I would assume it would be possible. Hope this helps Cheers Hayden Tim Ribaric wrote: > > Hello, > > Does anyone have any experience migrating content from a Gallery2 > (http://gallery.menalto.com/)site to a Dspace instance?
