I have Zoomify running on a dedicated server as a servlet - it uses a single converted file .pff (and the tiles depending on the site)

The single file approach uses a customized servlet I wrote which renders the html for the flash plugin so that it can all be called via a url rather than hand building pages.

Let me know if you are interested in any of this.

I feel there is a great deal of potential with the servlet approach - I have yet to really scratch the surface.

From the quick look at the latest version the flash viewer looks like it has received a facelift and some additional parameters.

I have also been looking for a flash/JavaScript image loader that allows zoom. We use Zoomify on our other sites, but it needs to create a bunch of tiled images in order to work. I am not sure that would be the best fit for dspace.
