[ wanting to copy and transfer DSpace on media, such as CD ] Hi Emily Depending on how big your DSpace is, the capacity of one CD may not be enough. Two places I know of for meta/data are: 1/ the location of the assetstore for as defined in dspace.cfg for data 2/ and a dump of the backend database for metadata Perhaps, stopping DSpace, copy the meta/data, transfer, restore are the sequence of steps you should follow. Using rsync() or robocopy.exe across the network or to a large capacity portable device is an option for the transfer stage. Best wishes -- Van Ly
