i also tried to access - "https://dizzyg.library.vcu.edu/browse-title"; is dead slow.. I wanted to know one thing - why do you need https for everything.. even for links to pdf..if they are to be accessed public.
Can't you have something which uses HTTPS only for data transfer pages or request paremeters sent across.
