This is a known problem: - http://jira.dspace.org/jira/browse/DS-374 The JIRA issue has a proposed patch, and asks some questions about what the correct behavior should be (e.g. should admins see all items in the RSS, or should admins also only see the restricted list). Your view on this would be welcome.
