I "think" you are the first to respond.  Unless I accidentally deleted the 
other responses ;-)

Boy, this was driving me nuts. I also figured out that my submit problem was 
due to the fact that I was missing the log4j.xml file.  So, I "think" I am OK 
now.

Just in case you don't already know this, and haven't had a hundred
responses telling you, the dspace logfile now has a date appended,
e.g.: dspace.log.2010-06-30.
