I just worked through the instructions on a fresh 11.04 installation and
it all went through fine. The only thing I imagine could have gone wrong
for you is in the instructions for enabling Sun Java. You'll need to
change 'maverick' to the name of the Ubuntu release you're using --
'natty' for Ubuntu 11.04. I've updated the wiki page to reflect this and
I've also changed the DSpace version used to the most recent release in
the 1.7 branch, 1.7.2.

I hope this helps.

cheers,
Andrea

All of the data generated in your IT infrastructure is seriously valuable.
Why? It contains a definitive record of application performance, security
threats, fraudulent activity, and more. Splunk takes this data and makes
sense of it. IT sense. And common sense.
