You meant, I will have to take the source code of only
PasswordAuthentication.java<https://github.com/DSpace/DSpace/blob/dspace-1_6_x/dspace-api/src/main/java/org/dspace/authenticate/PasswordAuthentication.java>.
from dspace-.1.6.2 src-release?. because fresh installation of the release
can not be done by me as it was already customized according to the
requirements.
