I managed to make most of the customizations, thanks to your help and here is a link to the repo: http://198.101.198.33/dspace/xmlui/ one last thing though...I have been racking my brain trying to fix the search problem in a different way apart from changing the root app in my Tomcat settings. I am sure it requires modification to some XSLs but I cannot seem trace them. Please have a look and tell me what you think.
