It should work, I'm not sure why it doesn't. The Mirage-SUNScholar
falls back to the dri2xhtml-alt theme and the search form is produced
in
dri2xhtml-alt/core/navigation.xsl, line 50:

When you look at your DRI document
http://198.101.198.33/dspace/xmlui/DRI/
you can see that contextPath is "/dspace/xmlui" and simpleURL is
"/search", so the action attribute should be "/dspace/xmlui/search". I
don't know why you're getting "/search" in the generated HTML.
