I don't understand your question. Are you asking me about a command in your discovery system, which you didn't even specify? I wouldn't be able to help you with that, but I don't think there would be "a command to harvest a bitstream". You might need to modify the crawler part of your discovery service to understand the section of the METS file I mentioned (if it doesn't already).
