Hi Joachim, what method do you use to make DSpace accessible on port 80? Make sure that you declare the URIEncoding on all conectors that you use, e.g. if you're connecting to apache via AJP, you need to declare it on the AJP connector, too. I can confirm that the above method works in both 1.8 and 3.0.
