Looking at the Subject: line, it occurs to me that you may still be installing prerequisite software and haven't gotten to the DSpace installation itself yet.
If you're running 'mvn archetype:generate' just to test whether Maven is installed properly, then (a) it looks to me as though it is, and (b) you could use any values you like for groupId and artifactId since it is only a test of Maven and the results will probably be discarded.
