My name is Stephano John, i work as a Library Officer responsible for Systems Administration at our University Library. Our Library is called Sokoine National Agricultural Library which is under the Sokoine University of Agriculture, in Morogoro Region, Tanzania, East Africa, have you been to Africa one day? if not you are most welcomed, we have a lot of things that will make you refreshed. Back to my point, in our University we are on the process to establish an Institutional Repository by using DSpace Software. We have purchased the servers, and we have successfully installed the software, you can register, login, upload documents, search, add people, delete etc. We have done these by reading different articles and manuals from duraspace including slideshow from http://www.slideshare.net/, now we are facing few problems in the beginning; we never know when its going to be fully in use but we hope it will be working fine Our problems are as follows (very simple to you, to me is difficulty because i have never attended any training on installing and customizing dspace) 1.
