Hello Sanjib, I'm sorry, but your question is very confusing. It's unclear what you're actually asking. It seems you're confusing items and bitstreams. Do you want to a) restrict access to items (the page with item metadata) b) or to bitstreams (so that dspace asks for username and password when you try to access a bitstream) c) or are you talking about access restrictions fetures of the PDF format (disallow printing/copying)?
