Hi,
I installed Dspace 4 also on Windows without changing any .bat.
I think your error is due to the fact that the .bat command cannot find the
java .class files of the dspace installation.
The only important thing I had to care about in my Windows installation is
in the *dspace-4.0-src-release/build.properties* file: *dspace.install.dir*.
Try to check you property value for: *dspace.install.dir* .
I modified the original dspace.install.dir=/dspace with:
dspace.install.dir=C:/sfilice/workspace-dspace/dspace-install
*Remember to use forward slash: "/"*
If you change anything in build.properties remember :
1)from *dspace-4.0-src-release* run mvn clean package
2)from *dspace-install/bin* run ant fresh_install (or ant update if the DB
schema has been already created)
3)copy *dspace-install/webapps* folders in webapps folder of an application
server ....
