Hello,
I have set up DSpace (1.6.8 version) running locally on my computer in
order to check some issues before installation for public use.
I want to use controlled vocabularies and it works fine as long as the
default xml files are loaded. But if I change a subject word in srsc.xml
file, for example turn it to Greek word, it seems that the file is no longer
readable.
I copy part of the srsc.xml text to make my self clear..
For example I change the following text :
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<node id="ResearchSubjectCategories" label="Research Subject Categories">
<isComposedBy>
<node id="SCB11" label="HUMANITIES and RELIGION">
<isComposedBy>
<node id="SCB110" label="Religion/Theology">
<isComposedBy>
With the following:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<node id="ResearchSubjectCategories" label="Research Subject Categories">
<isComposedBy>
<node id="SCB11" label="ΑΝΘΡΩΠΟΤΗΤΑ ΚΑΙ ΘΡΗΣΚΕΙΑ">
<isComposedBy>
<node id="SCB110" label="θΡΗΣΚΕΙΑ">
<isComposedBy>
We checked the files and they seem to support UTF-8.
We would appreciate any help on this.
Thank you in advance!
