I am experiencing the same problem of dspace 5.1 taking too long to open/view
files. I have followed the thread

and https://jira.duraspace.org/browse/DS-1925. My
xmlui.google.analytics.key = UA-554232-12 is commented out and should have no
effect but the system is taking too long to download. Currently, the dspace
instance is accessible on the intranet and the issue of Google Analytic is not
of interest at this point in time. I am not sure now which property to
disable. I will appreciate any help.

Also I've found this issue with DSpace 5.1, was impossible to open/view item
files or community logos. The bug fix that I applied was this, it's related
with google analytics key:
