From the dbmail_headervalue I can select the appropriate x-dspam-signature for the message that has to be retrained with only one simple sql select. No need to scan the message etc, it's all already done by dbmail.

The only complication would be if the e-mail was sent through two different instances of dspam, and there would be two signature headers. How does dbmail handle multiple headers?

So how do you feed the signature to dspam, is there an option for this or do you simply feed the "x-dspam-signature: yy,xxxxxxxxxxxxxx" line instead of the whole message?

/usr/local/bin/dspam --source=error --class=spam --signature=$signature --user $userid
