I don't know why the Mac OS X build has twice _agent_config symbol defined? Can
you run the following command inside the build directory and post the output of
them:
nm .libs/read_config.o | grep _agent_config
nm .libs/pref.o | grep _agent_config

Would it be possible for you to post the whole ./configure options you have
used? And the whole log after starting ./configure until the error is happening?
