I won't google for problems I am not aware of ;) If people have issues with some project, they should report the problems to the developers of this project (bug report, questions on mailinglists etc.). I have nothing against blogs and forums, but this behaviour doesn't help improving things. > > The hash driver seems to be quite unpopular for unknown reason, but I am > > sure it actually used by lots of users. > > The problem is, it is likely to become the "default" driver in the Debian > packages. It has always been the default driver for Debian packages, but default doesn't mean it should be chosen blindly ;) But I fully agree it is important things are fixed, as long as it is a supported backend. It is also true for other drivers even if they aren't the default driver for Debian/Fedora/Gentoo/OpenBSD (or whatever other supported distribution). > > Now, I do not understand why I get the segfaults when I run these > > programs. But I might be wrong. Actually, we didn't have the same problem… I was wrong when setting up my testing environment on an i386 machine. Stevan, I can also test on amd64 if needed, just tell me if you need it.
