About these two points : that's what the outside non-developer world is
given to see : a project that seems stagnant.
I also know that git is the place to go to see that it's not true nor
fair !
But "git clone + make + make install" is really not "releasing" I
think.
That's not how I'm used to work with other packages. Do you see my
point ?

Personally: nothing ! I just saw last time we (not me, but anyway)
exchanged about a release,
some people argued that some bugs where to be fixed before any release
where possible.

Hum... Not really... I'm not affected by those bugs...
I contributed the updated SQL purge script last time,
but I don't speak C enough to contribute efficiently to other parts for
now :(

I don't want my message to be taken for criticism of you developers.
Rather, I'm sad your work is not enough packaged for the rest of the
world,
although it deserves it :(
