Hi there, since there has been talk of a release sooner rather than later, you may be interested to have a look at the following patches. There may be more to come eventually, but since I have only very limited time to spare for hacking on dspam, you probably shouldn't hold your breath.
Except for the last in the series, all patches should be fairly straightforward. Admittedly, the last patch is a bit of a random collection of small bits and pieces.
