That is the wrong place to look for informations. Firstly the source archive 
has the most documentation. The second place is the DSPAM wiki. dspam.sf.net is 
the place to start looking for information.

Yes. That information is right. dspam.conf is the right place to change the 
preferences.

That is right too. I think you changed stuff in dspam.conf but it is not 
picking it up. Could it be that you have changed the wrong dspam.conf? Could 
you post the output of "dspam --version"? (I think I asked that already? And 
you have provided that info. Right?). Anyway... please post it again and post 
the location of dspam.conf that you edit.
