$ dspam --version
DSPAM Anti-Spam Suite 3.9.0 (agent/library)

/usr/local/etc/dspam.conf

To see if there are any other dspam.conf's that might be confusing things:

$ cd /; sudo find . -name dspam.conf -print
./Users/xxxxxx/Downloads/dspam-3.9.0/src/dspam.conf
./usr/local/etc/dspam.conf

So it looks like there's only one dspam.conf in a working path and that's the 
one I'm editing.

I'm using the mysql driver to store user info if that makes a difference.
