Yes. I think it is the same as with the PID file you reported. If I add that 
Include line on top of my dspam.conf then I get the same result as you. Adding 
it to the end of my dspam.conf is changing the picture and I don't have a 
crash. Probably my dspam.conf is way longer then yours?

No. I don't think it is Debian specific. The whole issue can be reproduced on 
my installation if I change the amount of data in dspam.conf or the order in 
dspam.conf.
