technically the new database schema in conjunction with the new DSPAM version 
could break your older DSPAM installation. I write technically because the new 
DSPAM is capable to create uids higher then the older version is capable in 
handling. But I don't think you will run into this issue for some time. Or to 
write in other words: till you run into that issue, you will already have 
upgraded that 3.8.1 to something new.
